This innovative effort established a mentoring program within business and industry. New workers were given mentors to help them transition into jobs as well as resolve issues, provide support, and connect mentees with other job opportunities. The results: increased lines of communication among staff in the workplace; job retention; job advancement and a great sense of satisfaction among both mentees and mentors.
