Best Management Practice- South Suburban Parks and Recration

or best management practice, the South Suburban Parks and Recreation department, Centennial, Colorado, Chris Brink accepting.

To help their larger institution retain employees, the program created a retention project that focused on learning. Called "The Learning Journey," the project created classes and workshops for employees ranging from Conversational Spanish to Microsoft Office to Using a Day Planner to Humor in the Workplace. More than 350 employees took the courses, which cost $8,000. If they had taken similar courses elsewhere, it would have cost $100,000. A great management practice.

While we are here, we'd also like to point out their great home page with a variety of ways to search for different courses and programs, including age, location of the program, and keyword.
