Located near the World Trade Tower, William's dean, Acte Maldonado, wrote us after September 11, "We have become the command center for the police and firemen and also unfortunately, a morgue. One of our buildings, located one block north of the World Trade Center, suffered damage. But we are just happy that we can provide a valuable service at this time."
And as we move
on to taking care of others in our society and around the world, one of the
most important things you and your program are doing right now is to provide
a sense of community, of place, of continuity, for the people you serve.
